---This handmade lokta paper is made in the highlands of Nepal by rural craftspeople in an environmentally friendly process with 50% recycled content. The raw material for our select paper is the Daphne bush. It is farmed and harvested from 3-4 year old plants that are cut down and stripped of their bark. The plant is not destroyed when cut down, it regenerates from the root. The cane like stick, once its bark is removed is dried and used to heat the villager’s homes, to provide fuel for cooking and also for the production of the paper. All of the water used in the paper production is reclaimed and reused.---

We design, print, score, cut, and ship all our cards from our home office. We strive for sustainability and high quality. We are currently working on our homesteading goals always focusing on living in harmony with our environment, and trying to do our part to help mother earth.
-GROWING- The plants tolerate partial shade and need 4 hours a day of direct sunlight. Will grow to about 3'.
Germination may begin as quickly as one week or may take up to six weeks depending on your regional growing zone.
If you plant this paper in a pot, or in your garden please cover with just 1/8” of soil and keep moist until established.
This paper is the most tested seed paper stock in the country. It is tested by us, tested by the seed supplier, tested by the USDA (twice) and tested by the department of agriculture in Nepal (twice).
Some of the plants in the paper have just a 1 week germination time and some have a six week germination time. Keep watering until you see sprouts, then keep watering it regularly until the plant is established. Seedlings do not have the strength to survive even a brief drought."
We try to use all recycled materials when shipping your products. Please compost:)
I ordered these for my friends birthday a month ahead of time and they ended up being 2/3 weeks later than expected, missing her birthday. I ended up having to reach out as it showed a shipped label was created but nothing had been shipped for about 2 weeks. The seller was very kind, and responsive however when I got the earrings, they were much smaller than expected. I selected 2-3 inches and the ones I got were maybe 1 inch. I reached out and the seller just said that they tried their best to accommodate and there is no guarantee. In the description it mentions the natural variations but I didn’t realize that even if I selected a size that I might not get it. The earrings are pretty and the seller was nice but overall I’m disappointed. Don’t order if you need them by a certain time or want a specific size.

The stationary came very quickly and was packaged very securely. They’re also very cute! And I appreciated the instructions on the back. They are perfect for thank you cards after a baby shower, which is what I used them for. I would absolutely buy them again!

FAQs
How do I plant my card?
Place your card in a container with a clear lid for best results. Soak thoroughly. Seeds need sunlight for germination. Seeds can take 3 weeks - 2+ months to germinate. All seeds germinate at different rates.
Once your seeds have germinated and grown their first true leaves, plant them where you want. Either in a pot or outside if weather permits.
Do my cards come with envelopes?
Yes, all cards come with brown kraft envelopes made from recycled paper.
